Depends on the day. Sometimes I use my Flip mino and other days I use the webcam in my MacBook Pro. I now edit the videos in iMovie but used to use Premiere Elements. Hope that helps :)
As a slow runner, I couldn't agree with you more. On the way to work the other day, I was behind a cat with two running stickers. One simply said "Ultra" and the other drove me to a place of rage and depression: "You ran a marathon? That's cute." I thought about following that person to their destination and having a friendly chat about my running journey. But I don't have tha kind of work flexibility.
I have a hard time not comparing myself to others. Especially in the blogging community. It's all about knowing -at the end of every day- that I did the absolute best I could within the parameters of that day.
And Pinky and the Brain made me smile. Nathan and I sing a lot of madeup songs to the tune of their themesong.
Pinky & the Brain are always there :) There is actually two baskets filled with stuffed animal mice on the bookcases behind my sofa. They just don't get featured like P&B :)
@Krissie - I'm glad you get me and you can come and ramble here ANYTIME.
Holy good timing. I watched this after coming home from work and having a major meltdown because I didn't think I trained enough this week. Well said, Mousie. Dang.
As the girl who has attempted to complete C25K 80 times, I do get fed up with the fact that other people just decide one day: "I think I'm going to run a marathon" and do it with one month of training. But when I look back on where I've come from, accomplishing 5 minutes of running has been a huge accomplishment for me in my own journey. There was a time when I couldn't walk 4 blocks comfortably. Now I can walk the butt off anyone (running is another story - but I'm working on it).
Thanks for putting the "elitists" in their place. They may laugh at my five minutes but to me, it feels like I've earned a gold medal.

Hey Marie!
Just wondering how you shoot your vids? What do you use?
Thanks,
Going back to watching your vlog now...

I love that Pinky and The Brain looked like they were sitting on your shoulder through that!
=)
First, you look fan-freaking-tastic.
Now on with the show...

Very clever thoughts, I think the comparison aspect that you reference is something that we all need to remind ourselves about.
thanks
