Bad Idea Bears

We all have them.
Those little voices in our heads that tell us to do bad things.
"Eat the cookies. They won't kill you."
"Run a 5k tomorrow morning and eat the chocolate bar now."
"Go to the gym tomorrow and veg out today. You deserve it. In fact, skip the whole week!"
They're just so darn cute and have wonderful ideas that they're hard to ignore.
The key is not giving into those cuddly little bears with their super soft fur and pudgy, huggable little tummies.
Although their sickly, sweet tones and soothing words may offer comforting suggestions, you may feel like ass in the end.
These bears are your conscience and your conscience can be your best friend and your enemy, leading to your victory or your defeat.
YOU choose to make the choices in your life, not the Bad Idea Bears.
CHOOSE to put yourself first. CHOOSE to feel good. CHOOSE to say no if it doesn't feel right and yes if you can afford to.
CHOOSE to be happy.
(choose to go see Avenue Q too :P)
It's a good idea, no?

hmmm...These bears are a bit scary looking:)

You give very good advice in this post, but I think the extra help for me will be picturing these 2 bears next time I hear the voice - that'll work:) hee hee

Hope you have a good day!

I love the pic you chose - makes me want to run far far away from them!!

The whole bulk thing my problem! Or the "I know you're full but you've already paid for it" or "it's free c'mon how can you say no"!

I ADORED that musical and played the cd repeatedly until my toddler started to talk and I was AFRAID what she'd repeat.

What they don't tell you is that you'll feel like a huge guilt ridden ass after skipping the gym for a week and indulging in chocolate bar after chocolate bar. Damn bears. Why do they always make it sound so appealing??

Now I remember the bad idea bears! I loved Avenue Q! It was hysterical. Yeah, you gotta watch out for those bears.
