Dear Techie & Social Media Blogs,

I subscribe to you in droves as I am a geek at heart, but for the last week you've been KILLING ME. I think Mashable alone had eight posts on it yesterday, maybe more.
I know I said before that I was EXCITED about the iPhone coming to Canada, but now I want it to swim with the fishies along with Britney Spears' albums and Crocs.
Seriously - Jainey and I went out for dinner last night and there were people ALREADY lined up at the Rogers store at Yonge and Dundas AT 10 PM!!!!

Let's just say I giggled a little when I heard thunder this morning at 5a.m., which was replaced by panic when I remembered that my roof has been leaking when it rains lately. So can we all just let this go already? It's a freakin phone! It does not cure cancer or win you friends. Can you please go back to writing about something fun like cats doing stupid things or something? Thanks, Mouse PS - I tried to go to the Rogers site to get a pic of the iPhone, only to have it crash on me. I LOVE it!

Argh! Isn't it ridiculous???
for MONTHS it was all Danny could talk about...and now that it's out, he's the same as you, he is SO over it (he even said his HTC touch was just as good - um, that COULD be wishful thinking though...)

Now that being said...I am pretty certain Danny is buying me an ipod touch for our anniversary...still though...now I won't stray from my crackberry...

i'm all for techie/mac stuff but i must be missing out on something because the iPhone does nothing for me... i like my phone being a PHONE and my iPod being an IPOD - too many things in one says trouble... :~)

and seriously - the only thing i would wait in line for is tickets to see depeche mode (yes, i'm 37)... ;-)

Doesn't win me friends? *sigh* And here I thought it would make me the coolest kid on the block. :(

(No, I don't really have an iPhone)

Now, if it ALSO did the dishes and folded laundry I *may* reconsider...

I am not a big Apple person so I don't quite get the hype about it. I do like the touch pad, but don't really need the Ipod and all in one. I like my techie stuff, the phone doesn't do much for me. I do like hearing about all the long lines though and laughing at those who spent the night waiting and then were rained on. Thanks for sharing that one!! Go commercialism!!
