Reaching new heights of stupidity

I don't know what I was thinking when I agreed to it.
I think I actually capitulated to peer pressure on the boards.
Come Saturday morning, I will be hauling my fine ass up the 1,776 steps to the observation deck of the CN Tower with Abbybba and Runny in order to raise money for the WWF .
No, not the wrestling organization...although, that's the WWE now, right?
That's right - I, Marie the rodent afraid of furry creatures will be raising money by crawling towards the heavens for wildlife.
How the frickityfrack does that make sense?
What makes even LESS sense is that I haven't stopped doing weight training this past week and my legs are killing like a motherbear.
I've been told that it really is more of a cardio workout and that your legs will only burn for the first few flights and then it will feel like someone is ripping your heart out of your chest, but how the hell can I complete this challenge if I can barely move my legs to get out of bed?!
Those furry creatures better appreciate what I'm doing for them.
I'm kind of afraid of heights, you know...
Although this does excite me.

Wow, that sounds really difficult, but when you're done, you'll be able to say that you climbed the CN tower for the rest of your life!

That makes for pretty cool bragging rights!

Mouse,
I get winded on the 4 flights I take each day at work. You are brave and amazing! Can't wait to hear if that whole "ripping your heart out of your chest" thing is true or not! Keep us posted and best of luck!

I wonder if you jog in the elevator on the way up it could count...

Seriously, good for you. That's gonna be quite an accomplishment.

wow good for you - you are a braver person than I. I find it funny that I can run for almost 3 hours yet walking up the stair from the subway leaves me winded?! Good Luck with that one!

P.S. STOP WEIGHT TRAINING!

Mind over matter, Mouse. Mind over matter. Turn off the pain and focus on counting the number of Canada Geese flying by.

Holy cow, Marie! I'm in awe. My legs are cramping on your behalf! Seriously, the step bench in Pump class makes me cry. You are my hero (or will be come Saturday!)
