and NOW there's a challenge

I thought it was hard enough trying to manage cooking these stupid meals every day, busting out frozen bits and preparing salad every freakin' day (I have never eaten so much salad in my life, seriously. Is this what people do for weight loss NORMALLY? FREAKS)... But how does one do this healthy eating challenge when they're

  • in another town
  • do not have access to a kitchen/microwave/etc for lunch/dinner/breakfast/lunch
  • actually have to attend a formal dinner one night, have dinner with her parents another, attend a baby shower another day and only get ONE free meal

Your plan is lovely and all, but where's my flexibility? hmmmmm???

That's why I love me my weight watchers. That's all I'm saying. I'm still packing your lunch and snacks today, but the dinner can't be helped. Sorry - life happens. Plus, the dessert is some sort of mousse bomb. COME ON PEOPLE?!!?!?!? :P

I know when WW started airing their new commercials ("Stop Dieting, Start Living") there was a lot of crap about it. But I think it really is amazing how the longer I follow the plan the less I feel like I'm on a diet. I'm just watching what I eat and eating healthy. And I think the flexibility is the reason I've been able to stick with WW when I've never been able to stick with anything else before. I love that you can eat whatever you want. I love that you get the flex points. So I'm with you! Have fun at your events this weekend!

I am in complete agreement...I am sad that I doubted WW...because I love it for that very same reason!!

I laughed at someone who just started WW (not in a mean way!!) because she asked how I could stand eating chicken breasts and salad so often...um, what???

Good luck with the challenge. You will do just fine. It does suck though that the plan isn't very flexible. There is no way you could sustain it for life. That's what is awesome about WW. It can go any where and be adjusted to anything. :)

I've never seen or knew PC did those menus. You are right about being out of town or at a restaurant.

That is why I hate diets that say "eat this for breakfast...". And I hate salads too - I didn't lose my weight eating salads!

Yup, you're right - need the flexibility for sure! WW truly is a good plan (even though I'm on a WW haitus).
