Bad Good Friday

The tradition on Good Friday in my Irish Catholic family is to head over to Duckworth's Fish & Chips on the danforth and partake in some of the finest halibut and chips that the city has to offer (although BlogTO seems to disagree. Whatevs).

The only bad thing is that the dinner sucks up the majority of your daily points if you're not careful, especially when they pile your plate FULL of chips...

and when Dad orders bread and butter (I successfully avoided that one)...

Or when you can't pass up a taste of coleslaw...

Good thing I didn't eat it all.

Restraint is a GOOD thing.

That sounds like a fine family tradition! Glad you were able to restrain yourself. I was not as successful this weekend! :) Oops!

Got to love family traditions! And nice job avoiding the bread. That's a tough one for me!

Wow well done! I literally made myself sick (well, uncomfortable for the rest of the evening) at my family's easter dinner! I lost my sense of restraint when I entered my mother's house.
