*sniffle*

I have somehow managed to get a cold...or at least the beginnings of one. I am drowsy, my throat feels swollen and my nose is running every now and again. This stinks. I haven't had a REAL cold in MONTHS! It's probably because I've been so lazy & stressed, not exercising enough and eating like crap. And now when I want to exercise and be healthy, I get ill and don't want to eat or do anything. The world is out to get me, I swear. So be it. Just don't touch my lunch.

ugh, I hear you! It is going around EVERYWHERE!!!

Mine went from stuffy flu to icky cold...blech!!!

I have no advice...just whining!!!

P.S. I get 4 pts for 30 min run - it's the biking and the strength that earns the rest thank god! I guess there needs to be some plusses to weighing more!

Grab some vitamin C drops, they always help me out.

Aww that sucks. Add some zinc lozenges to Carolyn's vitamin C suggestion - they always make my throat feel less raw.

oh I HATE that.
HOpe you're feeling better soon. My kids have got something nasty and I'm just like, "Wipe Your Own friggin NOse!" (jk, I just hope I don't get it)

Same thing here. Round 2 actually. Plus I'm at work for a 24 hr shift and theres nothing worse than being at work sick and completley unable to sleep in your own cozy bed....

That sucks!! Everybody seems to be sick these days.

The way I up my immune system this time of year is a multivitamen, 1 tbs fish oil and at least 1 cup decaf green tea everyday :)
