Let's try this again...

This is like the THIRD time I've tried to write a blog today. Apparently day one back from vacation = call marie with all of your problems. UGH! For the second day of the year, I think I'm doing pretty crappy. I started out so well yesterday; running first thing in the morning, tracking my food as I went, eating somewhat balanced meals.... Then suddenly watching the Biggest Loser I felt the need to eat chips. What The Eff... I don't know what's wrong with me or why I felt the need to do that, but I feel as though NOW I have to jump on a bandwagon like so many others and make better efforts to stay healthy. I can feel myself backsliding like mad already and And forgetting to make a lunch for today wasn't the smartest move. Especially since everyone else is on the health train, there is now a lineup snaking around the food court just for a stupid subway sandwich...right...because subway alone will make for better health and weight loss. *sigh* Granted, the line up at thai express is still miles long so I guess there really are people who DON'T make resolutions. Bah. Can I start my year over again?

Ugh...I can't even EXPRESS how much I hear ya...

I brought Christmas chocolates to work this morning to get them out of the house...guess who started eating them????

I don't like this whole bandwagon things...I usually do the opposite as everyone else...perhaps I should just shut every thing out for a while and pretend that everyone is eating crappily so I can eat normal...

Oh and I know people who order meatball subs with extra cheese from Subway because it's "healthy, it's from Subway"...

Eating chips during BL? Was it that good? or bad ?Normally I feel the urge to go make myself a Jenni-o turkey taco with jello for dessert and Wrigley's gum for a snack. Oh yeah, throw a 100 calorie snack pack in there too.

Anyway, I totally missed it...maybe that's a good thing.

It's only one day, one bad choice, don't make it 2! I'm almost scared to go to my gym today because I know there will be like twice the people there!!

I think we assume that if we say Jan 1 or 2 is the day for better choices and that the bandwagon is there waiting for us patiently to get on and then we feel like we're chasing after it with exhaust spewing in our faces! lol

Well maybe today your not having such a great day but I want you to know that I'm going running with some buddies after work and it's crappy outside and I'm doing it anyway because you inspire me to do it. :-)

I've had 3 chocolates today. I did count them (big whoop!). You would think with the ODing on chocolate over xmas break would stop me but no such luck!!

At least you went for a healthy lunch option!!

i also felt the need to chow down on chips while watching the biggest loser. wtf?

Every day is a new day so of course you can start again! That is weird that you want to eat chips while watching cause I had to hop on the freakin treadmill!! You run so much that I am sure one day will not ruin everything so hop back on tomorrow and don't forget to pack your lunch :-)

I don't watch BL - maybe that's a good thing. As I recall, running in knee-deep snow is good cardio and should burn off the chips and any short lunch-line option you would choose.
Good luck navigating the food court.
