The sign on the door said they would have 100 of them today.
The line up had to be about 150 people long.
and it was 8:45a.m.
Re-donk-u-lous.
I think I can wait for a silly gaming system, thanks. Besides, I'm totally inept at playing any system so lining up for a system that I may not even get to get my ass embarrassed playing it...
Yeah...that sounds like sooooooooooooo much fun!
I think I'm just anti-technology right now. I have a client who keeps calling my cell instead of calling my office phone and leaving me nasty messages about not being able to get hold of me...well, that's because you're not calling me at work, silly. I can't talk to you if you're calling a phone that's on vibrate in my purse. Besides, I only gave you that number to call me on a specific day, not everyday when you want to chat about your project. Hmmph.
But I digress...

Yesterday's Brekkie

Yesterday's poor choice of lunch
steamed rice and spicy chicken something

the half of it I threw out when I realized how stupid I was for choosing it in the first place...

Yesterday's Dinner
The last of the Chicken Cacciatore

10 nibbles at the cheese:
It's the same thing here, people are getting to the stores at like 3and 4 in the morning to get in the lineup.
It's a GAME people....geez.
client = idiot
and I'm loving the frosty table cloth, very cute! Nice work on tossing out 1/2 of lunch :0)
aw, boo!!! Wii's are damn near impossible to get at this time of year!!! As is guitar hero...hence why Danny is getting cologne for Christmas...
I can't believe the craziness over Wii. I think it sounds cool but I've never in my life had a gaming system so I'm sure it would just collect dust!
I had stupid people, esp stupid clients.
Re-donk-u-lous - new favourite word!
Wow, this makes me glad we bought our Wii in the summer! We just randomly checked in any time we were near an electronics store and happened upon a Future Shop about an hour after they got their shipment in - they hadn't even put signs up yet!
It's sooo worth waiting for, but not in a ridiculous line up like that. We love ours, and I can't wait for Wii Fit to come out!
Wii is super fun and I'm not a game person at all..... having said that, I'd never wait outside for one. Nutters!!
My daughter tried Wii at a friends house and wants one. I asked what she wanted more: Wii or a TV in her room. TV hands down, so I save myself some cash and stress.
I had to drag my husband away from standing in line to try a Wii in Wal-Mart. All the 10 year old's (who were waiting in line around him) gave him sympathetic looks.
I would LOVE to have a Wii. We made other Christmas gift plans for each other, and then I saw an article in the paper today about rain checks and guaranteed delivery by 1/31. I don't know if you have a store called Game Stop in Canada, but they're giving rain checks here.
Can you tell me more about your chicken caccitore? It looks awesome!
Hope you're having a great weekend!
Every year it's always some gaming system that everyone HAS to have for xmas. I suck at those gaming systems and I was so excited when FH downloaded a SNES emulator and we got to play Mario and Donkey Kong. Now THAT was fun. I haven't yet played the Wii, but I am interested in that one more than the other ones.
