GBU - my ass hurts edition

Good - After a LONG day at work yesterday, I hauled my behind to the gym for a run and some weight training Bad - It was lower body weight training, something I haven't done in quite a few weeks Ugly - You should see me try and sit down or walk down stairs today Good - Working out at night does really help me sleep better Bad - Working out at night is really stressful - I think people are just plain rude and clueless at my gym at that time of the day Ugly - The scene I will make if miss thang doesn't get her ass off of the treadmill at 6:01 the next time I have my name down for treadmill 7. She's lucky someone got off of number 8 Good - Breakfast and lunch were good choices yesterday; waffles and gunk and a lean cuisine pizza (was in a hurry yesterday morning) Bad - Being held without food or water until 3:30 because of a lengthy installation and a barrage of questions from people at client's office that I wasn't ready for (apparently the assistants thought I was there to train them but the lawyer told me I was there to only install a portion of the program. *sigh* I am NOT a miracle worker people!) Ugly - The oatmeal cookies *may* have been dinner Good - running two days in a row! WHEEE! Bad - running on a treadmill - booo! Ugly - mirrors next to treadmill that show how doughy your midsection has become since you've neglected going to the gym and due to eating cookies for dinner. hmmm....isn't that food for thought... Good - My job has me up and about lately doing lots of work Bad - My time to comment on blogs has been severely reduced *sob* Ugly - My ass is going to be even more sore by the end of the day

GBU enjoyed as always!

Yeah I tried to take the highroad with the treadmill hog and at least give her the chance to dutifully get off the machine when her time was up, but nope, I had to kick her off and now I'm forced to be those girls who pounce when the clock turns to the minute and you're not wiping it off yet.

If you were installing software at my office, you'd be showered with praise and chit chat by lawyers who are diamonds in the rough and assistants who don't feel the need to be demanding becuase of the arsehole demanding lawyers they work for :-) And if you ended up having to stay longer than expected, I know one lawyer in particular who would without a doubt have run out and buy lunch and bring it in! I'm a lucky girl here I tells ya!

Another great GBU. Good for you for making it to the gym. And good for you for being on the verge of kicking someone off - that girl is so lucky!!

I hate people who don't get the eff off of the treadmills! Seriously, if you don't want to share go buy your own. Hmph.

I completely feel for you - When I went to the gym for the first time in ages about 2 months ago, I literally could not walk for 3 or 4 days. It was the stairs. It was awful. I guess that is good motivation to keep going and make sure that doesn't happen to me again!

I heart Lean Cuisine pizza.

Gawd I hate those ppl who totally flake out and hog the treadmills. They know how long they've been on there and hope that no one noticed they're trying to squeeze in another 5 min...grrr.

I'm not a fan of the gym at night either... Seems most people are there to "be seen"... Too many long haired overly tanned blondes strutting around in BCBG work out suits with a full face of make up looking for a date. Not my scene AT ALL.

your workout inspires me! i am going to the gym tomorrow and i have decided I'M GONNA DO my BOOTIE...thank YOU! and by the way, working out at night really helps me sleep better, too. although most peeps say the opposite. i also workout longer and stronger at night. weird. YOU ROCK
