They say...

There are only two seasons in TO - Winter and construction. Well, it's almost winter, and there's still freakin' construction! I did an 8km run last night with the lovely RR crowd at Commerce Court. Some of my half clinic peeps were there so it was like the good ol' times (although SOME people who lurk here were NOT present *ahem*). It was all well and good until we hit Front St....where most of the road is torn up, blocked off, ripped up and then we had to contend with the sport/concert/dinner crowds. Not A Pretty Sight Ah! Human bowling at its finest yet again - only with more bowling balls and MANY more pins! Then this morning I decided to walk down Yonge St. on my way to work. I had been walking down Church for the past two weeks and I couldn't figure out why. Well today it hit me. The sidewalks on Yonge are all ripped up too and pedestrians are forced to walk on uneven boards or the road to get to where they want to go. I don't know which is more fun now; human bowling or treacherous sidewalk adventures in three inch heels. You be the judge.

Fort McMurray has the same seasons too...except our winter lasts about 6 months...and construction is still going...only half assed...

I run along the paths along the bow river, right down town cowtown, I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to dodge people and run at the same time, you amaze me yet again
