Now I've seen it all

I thought the falling ice sign in the middle of the summer was bad, but I think this is in a class of its own... Where: Adelaide Street West, just a few steps from Bay Street in downtown TO When: 9:11a.m. said the big clock on the wall on the corner. Guess I took too long getting my ass ready this morning then marvelling at how the couch has disappeared from my front lawn (good job Keith and Jeep!) Who: Me toddling off to work, just finished swimming downstream from the angry GO commuters who had an hour delay this morning and chuckling to myself about how thankful I am that I live downtown as I rounded the corner when I come face to face with... What: A man in his 50s. Greying, glasses, moustache that's well trimmed. He's wearing a classic blue, pinstriped suit and carrying a briefcase. He's also wearing SANDALS. Why: In God's name is he wearing these? since when is a suit and sandals acceptable Bay St. attire? and it's FREAKING OCTOBER! put some damn shoes on How: ...I didn't run into the newspaper boxes laughing and crying is beyond me bah! People make my head hurt. But in happier news, today is my eldest brother Kevin's birthday. He's the one who coached our baseball teams, took the time to help me with my homework growing up and always lends an ear when I have a problem. He's just plain awesome and stuff so big hugs and love to him. Besides, look how cute he is!

I don't get it either. At least he wasn't wearing socks with those sandals. I see that a lot around here. (people! If you're going to the effor to put SOCKS on, just put your shoes on too!)

Happy Birthday Kevin! (everyone I know named Kevin has always been super nice and funny, so really, I feel like I know him)

And you look very cute too little lady!

I saw a man wearing flip-flops with a suit! (How retarded is that?!) The suit was a very modern cut and kind of shiny. Really Hideous.

Very cute pic. of you guys! Happy Birthday, Kevin!

Argh...and worst??? I keep seeing people wear crocs with their suits...I sometimes wear them in my office...but not with something nice...and often, they choose black, because what's classier than black crocs???

Okay, I'm with yas on the no sandals with a suit opinion, but I gotta stand up for all of those socks and sandal wearers!

I did it on Sunday, thought about all of the people who wouldn't approve as I slipped on the socks, then the sandals, and headed out the door. It's not summer anymore, but there's no snow on the ground either people! Sometimes a girl's feet needs a certain combination of warmth and fresh air! :-P

oh - i've seen BAD crocs around here with some interesting fashion choices. the bright orange ones i saw last week on one gentleman in khakis and a green golf shirt was a sight to behold.

angie...that pained me to read. a guy in my office wears socks and sandals all summer and i chase him around with a stick. don't make me come down to the east coast...

lol Well maybe you can take comfort in knowing that it's not a regular occurance with me, but I'm not afraid to!

I feel for the man, because it pained me to great lengths to hang up my sandals last week (Yes I wore them last weekned) It's been surprisingly nice here in the Maritimes! Although I didn't wear them with a business suit...

But ANGIE! Socks and sandals??? That hurts.
