can someone please explain to me....

why hershey is marketing a candy bar as a protein bar?

anyone?

because I'm baffled.

It's CANDY, PEOPLE!

I don't care if it has 12g of protein, it still has 21g of fat.

not touching it with a ten-foot pole.

It's so everyone can be "healthy" and justify all the crap they put in their mouths...

WTF??!! You're not serious?!

*sighes* of course they are. People will run for this and of course think it's healthy WITHOUT even reading the NI...

B/C ppl will look at it and say "wow, a different wrapper! Pro? It must be good for you! Look at how responsible I'm being with my food choices" :S

Like sheep to the slaughter...lol

My hubby and I saw this the other day at the store and I laughed out loud! Scott was look "Carolyn, O'Henry makes a protein bar!!!" I laughed and said no, O Henry has a new wrapper that says protein on it, it still has all the fat and calories! What a ridiculous marketing ploy!

Most protein bars have a lot of fat and calories too.

FYI Shannon - I was on BFL in 2001 and lost about 50lbs and was heavily reliant on supplements. the fat content on them was about 7g or so per bar and they had anywhere from 15-24g of protein. these oh henry! bars are obscene.
