Mouse - 1 Processed Foods - 1 :(

So I was trying to avoid processed foods all this week...well, with the exception of a frozen dinner here or there for lunch (because I'm lazy like that somedays. Sue me). I mean more in way of 100 calorie treats, junk food etc. I was successful day one. Eating only wholesome stuff which lead to that little core discussion yesterday (and the tracker check mark collecting - that's what it all means. the beta plan manager let's you know which of your food choices are "core" food choices. sort of handy in a way, sort of "hey, why don't you switch to core?" in a way too...). Anyway, I was feeling good, feeling GREAT, feeling WONDERFUL...up until yesterday afternoon...when all of a sudden I hit some sort of wall and crashed. I neeeeeeeeeeded sugar. I tried to avoid it like the plague so I went out for run and then off to the gym for an upper body workout. Felt good, felt great, felt wonderful again. Also felt very sore and tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiired. Made myself a healthy meal after...but then it hit me again. And that's when the diet pop cupcakes came in. I thought hiding those little temptresses in the freezer would save my jiggly ass but apparently not because defrosting one is no good, must be done in pairs because it looked oh so lonesome on the little plate. *sigh* I hope we're doing hills tonight at RR - i could use the kick in the ass.

OH yes, the blasted cupcakes!!!

You are still doing so great though!!! There's much worse you could have eaten!!! I love the WW binge (it's not NEARLY as bad as before!)

Hey, you at least first ignored the urge and went for a workout - huge props and diet pop cupcakes well deserved in my books. ;)

btw, how many points each for those cupcakes? i am interested in trying them for sure. as long as they don't gag me with a spoon

i stopped eating frozen meals a few weeks ago, to give my body a break and to get more fruits/veggies... so far, i don't miss them but will never give up pizza - the healthy choice french bread ones are pretty tasty (though 7-8 points)...

I understand you...I just have a bit of sugar and then I go crazy, you had them and that's ok so just run those hills baby and stay away from that vector the RR is pushing or just send it my way cause I can't seem to stop eating it :0

Seriously though, I'm sorry you didn't achieve the goal you set out. But you did well anyway!

Oh Marie... I think even standing up to the temptation as long as you did was a success in itself. Me, I would have probably given in at the first craving.

We're all so dependent on processed foods... I'm sure it will take you a while to really get into the swing of things. So don't beat up on yourself! I bet tomorrow will rock. Check, check, check, check!
